  Cooking up a masala fare

Cinematographer turned director Thangar Bachchan is known for his sensitive portrayals on screen.

His movies Azhagi, Solla Marantha Kathai and Thendral were all realistic explorations of human emotions.

But for Azhagi, Thangar Bachchan could establish himself only as a class director but could not gain any commercial success from his last two movies.

Now, Thangar Bachchan is keen to erase his patchy record and is coming up with a masala stuff with all commercial elements in it. He is now moving away from his off-beat entertainers to a laugh riot.

His next directorial venture would be Chidambarathil Oru Appasamy, which is supposedly a hilarious entertainer.

Reports say that Thangar may even play the lead role in it. Pressures of commercial cinema can do any thing, you see.
