Following Jeeva, producer R B Choudhary's next son Ramesh is being launched on screen with Githan. Being produced Radaan Mediaworks, Githan stars Ramesh in the lead role with JJ fame Pooja opposite him. The movie has raised great expectations for the original story has been penned by Ramgopal Verma. Noted cinematographer Vincent Selvah, who directed movies including Youth and Vattakudi Iraniyan directs Githan. More over, Sarath Kumar plays a cameo in the movie.The story is confined to happenings in one week, and it has been shot in Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangkok and 30 different locations.

Asked about the movie, Vincent Selvah says "you will find good and dark shades in the lead character. He longs for mother's affection. To achieve his objective, he goes to any lengths'. Impressed with the story, Sarathkumar has accepted to play a cameo in it. Kalabhavan Mani, S Ve Sekar are also in the cast.On the movie, producer Radhika Sarathkumar says "it's a different kind of movie being attempted for first time here.

Ramesh has given his best and would emerge as a great talent. Equally impressive is Srikanth Deva, whose songs are not just catchy but also foot-tapping'. Githan will no doubt be a film which will be cherished by audience of all classes, she adds.
