SURYA TAKES AJITH'S PLACE IN MIRATTAL AS GAJINI

Surya is now the heartthrob of all the college girls in Tamilnadu! This status was made stronger after the release of Kaakha Kaakha. He is presently working with director Singampuli in Mayavi and after that he has signed up 'Gajini' with A.R.Murugadoss.

This movie was offered to him after Ajith refused to act in Mirattal. Mirattal was to be produced by NIC Arts S.S.Chakravarthy with Ajith and Asin in the lead. There are lots of reasons why Ajith didnt want to act in it. But, Surya says with strong sentiments that this movie would be a super hit and will promote his image. This is because of the success of Nandha which was also offered to Ajith in the first place. Surya has been telling his people that this is the reason he immediately signed up for the movie with Murugadoss.
